Thomas Strickland Standish (Lord of the Manor 1807-1813)

Thomas Strickland Standish was married to Anastasia, daughter of Sir John Lawson of Brough, and they had several children. During the relatively short period he held the manor he became Colonel of the Wigan Militia. He died in 1813 and was succeeded by his son, Charles Strickland Standish.^[1]
